Oats Royd

13:30 - 15:30.

I enjoyed a very blustery walk down to Oats Royd this aft.
A strong SSW "breeze" was not helpful keeping birds thin on the ground (and in the trees).
The 40 Pied Wagtail seen on the Bradshaw Bowling Green this morning had dwindled to 8 and non were seen here on the return leg.

Birds:

1 Meadow Pipit, Jay, 2 Kestrel.

A Buzzard appeared, high, over Roper Lane, immediately being plagued by crows.

On the return journey a Heron called loudly.
I back tracked to see it and caught a glimpse as it left flying behind trees to land in a field.

A Buzzard made an appearance (I guess the same one as earlier) again being mobbed by crows.
