Cloudy and cold.
A walk to the local paper shop while the orange marmalade production director was hard at her craft, this morning.
I took the bins and camera 'just in case' which proved to be a wise move.
Bradshaw Park had a good selection of small birds with Great Tit, Blue Tit, Greenfinch, Goldfinch and Chaffinch.
The usual Blackbirds and Starlings and a distant Mistle Thrush (I think) in the trees.
Top of the Pops was a large skein of 128 Pink Footed Geese, miles off and quickly disappearing > W over towards the Ogden area, seen as I walked along the track opposite School Lane.
A pleasing sight on a Sunday morning.
Also, calling high overhead, a Herring Gull.
Looking towards Ambler Thorn, Queensbury.
Nice shot of the pinks...
