√Ogden to Bradshaw

13:50 - 15:40

A better day today, some snow during the night but a bright sunny morning gave way to some cloudy stuff later.
A cold, sharp NW breeze kept me on the move.

A large flock of Starling were airborne, south of Ogden Lane.
Ogden water was quite choppy with just 7 small gulls here on my arrival.
Things did pick up, slightly, with 20 or so Gulls at one point half Common and half Black Headed.
A large Gull was on the water, possibly a 1st Winter Herring Gull.

A few Herring Gulls flew over Back Lane area.

Other birds hereabouts were Kestrel ,a cracking Little Owl and an airborne Cormorant.

A large flock of Woodpigeon took flight, way over towards Ringby Top, disturbed by a Helicopter.

A distant bird ,seen in silhouette, was probably a Greenfinch.

It was very quite on the walk back home via the farm track / footpaths but I did locate a second Little Owl.

Looking out of the bedroom window this morning

Blackbird waiting for me to provide him with some breakfast

Some pics of possibly a 1st Winter Herring Gull

Lightened from a distant black blob - probably a Greenfinch
