Ogden Golf Course to Home

18:20 - 20:30

My first local swifts this morning, with 2 birds high over the garden as I sat reading.

I left it late for an outing, hoping that the 'not too hot' weather might improve the birdlife.

Pipits:

There seems to be some large size and colour differences to Meadow Pipits that I can't seem to grasp!!

Golf Course Area:

Chiffchaff, 4 Linnet, Meadow Pipit.
'Pipit in a tree'
Kestrel, Skylark, 2 Swallow

I just walked along the prom at Ogden Water and up through the car park, giving the circuit a miss this evening.

Just 4 Lesser Black-backed Gull on the water.

From Ogden to Home via Soil Hill:

4 Canada Geese with 4 young near the plantation.
2 Swallow, Whitethroat 2 Kestrel, Skylark, Meadow Pipit, Lapwing, Curlew.
Little Owl.

and somewhere along the route...

  1. Nice Deer pic John, always nice to see. I had one in the middle of the road during the week in an urban area as well.
