Leeshaw - Bird on a Wire

After a poor do at Skipton Woods earlier,I had an hour or so at Leeshaw Reservoir late evening.

Birds:-

Little Owl.
Meadow Pipit - c30
Linnet c10
Herring Gull passed by.
A lone Large Gull, distant,on the east banking - probably a Lesser Black Backed Gull.
Curlew Calling
Oystercatcher calling
Lapwing
26 Greylag Geese.
8 Canada Geese.

An ungainly bird balancing / or not / on the telephone had me thinking Cuckoo. The bird was very dark - against the bright sun.
But it's a Carrion Crow or maybe a Blackbird!
