Skipton Woods

After some shopping in Skipton were enjoyed a short walk through Skipton Woods today.
The temperature was once again in the high 20's. In fact when we got back to the car (the car was parked in the sun), the car temperature showed 32 deg.

As expected the bird life was minimal.
A Kestrel passed high over head, not staying long.
A couple of Grey Wagtail were on the small stream.
The pond was very yucky with just a few Mallard on it.
It looked at one point as if I'd eyeballed the Kingfisher (that I've seen here on previous occasions) , in a tree - but it turned out to be the back of a Male Mallards head!

Swifts were zooming about the town centre calling - reminding me of a Greek holiday long ago.

A few Black Headed Gull were here and there.
