A leg stretcher up to Soil Hill where there was a cooling breeze. The walk up there, however, was a muggy slog.

Swallow, Swift, Meadow Pipit, Skylark, 2 Stock Doves, Woodpigeon, Kestrel, Greenfinch.
Large Gulls drifting by, very distant.
A moorland fire, looking north, beyond Well Heads Road.
A bit of a mystery bird - miles off - as per.
Thought Lapwing when I took the photo.
Looking at the photo it may just be a Golden Plover.
But the photo is nowhere good enough for a positive ID.
HoHum.
