Soil Hill

13:40 - 15:30(dusk)

A big black cloud hung overhead today.

A bit late out today for my usual saunter up to and around Soil Hill.
It was good to bump into DB, on Taylor Lane, for a chat.
No sign of the hoped for Snow Bunt.
The weather was certainly cold enough for one.

Birds:

4 Meadow Pipit.
3 Kestrel seen here and there.
Mistle Thrush.
A few Gulls in the fields.

As I was in a slight hollow, c12 Golden Plover flew over Soil Hill top, fast, keeping low in a tight group.
Their undercarriage shining silver in the setting sun.
There were over the hill and out of sight in a breath.
