A trip to Oxenhope this aft hoping for a sighting of the Osprey reported earlier.
No Osprey just a sighting of BS and lots of Geese.
Nothing 'special' about but a warm afternoon and a pleasant outing.
Birds:-
2 Wheatear, Kestrel, Curlew, Pheasant.
2 Little Owl, Bar-headed Goose, 2 Barnacle Goose.
2 Oystercatcher. Meadow Pipit.
The usual Canada and Greylag Geese.
At least one Greylag having a great deal of white in the plumage.
Just Black Headed and Lesser Black-backed Gull as far as I could see - no sign of the Yellow Legged Gull.
Leeming 16:25 - 17:25
An hour at Leeming hoping the Osprey was still hanging round, but no luck.
Pretty quiet - 10 Black Headed Gull and dribs and drabs of Lesser Black-backed Gull moving through.
Pied Wagtail, 3 Grey Wagtail, calling Bullfinch, Greenfinch, 4 Mistle Thrush, Jay.
Pheasant, House Martin, Swallow.
