En-route to Edinburgh we stopped on a campsite overnight at Carlisle.
A short but interesting walk brought with it:-
Buzzard being mobbed by a Crow.
2 Great Spotted Woodpeckers chasing each other about.
Not sure if it is too early for GSW to be feeding recently fledged young?
3 Stock Doves
Lots of House Sparrows and a lone bird high in a tree which turned into a Tree Sparrow when I gave it the bins treatment.
A good few Great Black-backed Gulls overhead late evening.
