Wednesday - amazing Wader roost - Snettisham.
A once in a lifetime experience - unbelievable.
After a visit to Sanderingham House to see some relatives -
(ok I lied about the relatives) - we had a very late and quite a long walk along the coast, going south.
After a couple of miles the Knot and other waders were putting on a fine aerial display as they decided where to roost.
Thousands of Knot and Godwit were here with Oystercatcher and lots more.
Some pics:
Sanderingham:
Some Gruesome history - sorry if this offends anyone.
Possibly a Wigeon, but I am unsure.
Snettisham:
Phew! home time
