Day 5 Wednesday 1st June 2016
We can’t believe it – another scorching sunny hot
day.
Today we took a bus ride to Manorbier and walked
back along the coastal path.
It was tough walking again with plenty of ups and
downs and the heat added another dimension!
This coastline is fantastic with breathtaking
scenery.
Today the birds came along as well.
I am sure that there would be lots more bird
species to see if we were not walking for 6hrs plus each day.
But even concentrating on the walking and
carrying a camera and bins I am happy with the birds we are seeing and
photographing.
Today we had some good sightings of Gannets and
Chough.
A Whitethroat made an appearance and Stonechat
were seen frequently.
No Whinchat, as far as I could tell.
A Buzzard made an appearance, while we were
waiting for the bus, and a House Sparrow was having a nasty tangle with some
plastic stringy stuff for it’s nest.
