Bempton

Sunday 15th April.

We called at Bempton on the way home from our holiday.
It was bright and sunny, but the usual cool wind was evident on the cliff tops.

Puffin was the bird we were after and there were plenty on offer today.

The usual cliff top birds were here:-

Razorbill, Guillemot, Gannet, Fulmar and Kittiwake.

The fields and bushes nearby were unusually quiet with the migrant passerines not arriving yet.

Three Sparrow, Chaffinch, Goldfinch and Reed Bunting were all that I could muster.
