Norfolk 11th April 2017

A long day's hike today, not so much the distance, more the time taken.

With an amazing selection of Waders and Geese to stop us in our tracks we were walking for 7 hours or so.

Sue must have been in birding mode this holiday because she has shown tremendous patience with me and she pointed out that my Pintail was not a Pintail!!

(Thank goodness she did not know what the bird was though)

A sunny and extremely windy day, especially walking anywhere near the sea.

A few pictures of some of the birds seen today - with my best efforts to ID them.

(Please feel free to tell me where my ID is way off)

Apologies to any birding purists, reading this, for any clangers that I've dropped with the ID's!!

Thanks.
