IOW Thu 18/07/19. Brading Marshes (Bembridge Lagoons).

Some serious birding for 2 hours this afternoon along the lagoons.

Access to this RSPB reserve area is very disappointing with just a path around the perimeter and no hides whatsoever.
A few '2 plank' benches are dotted about.
An elderly IOW birding couple (even older than me!) mentioned that they would like to able to SIT in a hide and scope the birds, especially in the winter – but no chance.

Anyway...

A decent outing with a few Waders about.

Birds:

Pr. Marsh Harrier.
Greenshank.

4 Redshank, 3 Common Sandpiper.
5 plus Little Egret.
Little Grebe with young.
Reed Warbler.
Great Crested Grebe.
Buzzards.
Whitethroat.
Linnet.
