√Afternoon Outing

13:25 -16:10

After yesterday's adventurous rail journey, a quiet day.

A walk along the lanes/roads to Asa Nicholson's café, at Kelham, this aft. on a bright sunny day with a cold north east breeze.

A Mistle Thrush was in the fields near home.
A couple of very distant Skylark were seen from Ingham Lane.
The fields below Soil Hill, seen from Thornton Road, held 22 Lapwing and a few Starling.

A detour around Kelham Farm shop, via Crag Lane, Squirrel Lane and Malt Kiln Lane had just Woodpigeon and Crows to look at.

Magpies everywhere today.

Raggalds Flood had some juice, but nothing juicy.

A Mistle Thrush was seen from Bradshaw Lane.

In total, 9 Roe Deer were see at various spots along the way.

Woodpigeon Most Probably

And somewhere along the way...
