√All Over the shop

A lot of too-ing and fro-ing today with snow showers all day long.
I had a walk from Whitehill Dentists to home, while Emma was having a decoke.
Not a lot about.
Small Gulls, Corvids, Starling and a pretty Mistle Thrush was a pleasing sight.
A pr Canada Geese were on the pond near Bradshaw Park.

After a visit to town and then Sowerby Bridge,we had a trip to Sue's dads.
Sue dropped me near Hallas Lane off Wakefield Road, near the river.

I had a look at the river where there was just a few Mallard and a Moorhen in residence.

A real grunt of a walk up the steep cobbled Woodhouse Lane (aka the A1!) to Birdcage Lane, hoping for Woodpecker but seeing some nice snowy oaks and not a lot else.

Then I went along Birdcage Lane and along the path below the chippy to St Jude's Church and back below Saville Park football fields.

Heavy snow showers here, where all I could eek out ,were the usual Small Gulls, Corvids and Starlings.

3 Mistle Thrush did brighten up a pretty dull do though.

Thanks for tuning in - with a good weather report I hope tomorrow's effort is a tad more interesting.

  1. No Redwings on Savile Park then John ? Guess they are doing woodland in this weather - especially the holly bushes.
