We had an adventure today with Abigail and Emma.
Using the Halifax Courier special train ticket offer we headed off to Blackpool.
Blackpool North was closed for maintenance, so we had 3 trains to catch in the morning:-
Sowerby Bridge - Hebden Bridge - Preston - Blackpool South
& 3 more to get home!
A very tiring but enjoyably day out.
A beautiful sunny day with a very, very strong wind, and, with the the tide in, all afternoon, the sea was crashing onto the promenade steps.
Not many birds ( not that I'd any spare time to look)!
