Birdcage Lane / Saville Park area

After yesterday's bird bonus at Pugneys, a quiet stroll , on a chilly, dull morning - but no rain.

Not a lot about really:-

Great Spotted Woodpecker calling from the oaks below Albert Promenade 'cliffs'.
A F. Sparrowhawk flew past.
A few Long Tailed, Blue & Great Tits.

A solitary Redwing on the Saville Park grass with a Pied Wagtail, Mistle Thrush.
Song Thrush belting out its song from the highest tree nearby.

A second Sparrowhawk was seen near Halifax Parish Church and a Peregrine Falcon seen near the Town Hall.

First glimpse of the Peregrine
