Ogden Golf Course to Bradshaw

16:35 - 18:45

A cool, breezy, very, very dull evening with drizzle and murk arriving before I got home.

Lots of songs but few pics tonight.

The Golf Course Area had Pr. Mistle Thrush, one a young bird by the looks of it.
2 Singing Willow Warbler. Curlew calling from the moors.
Pr. Kestrel together. 2 Linnet.
2 Song Thrush, Skylark and a few Meadow Pipits singing.

Ogden Water:

Lots of shoreline now.

A few Lesser Back-backed Gull.
1 Herring Gull (but not for long).
Yellow Legged Gull also entered my brain - plenty of room for it there.

A Great Spotted Woodpecker called loudly within 6 feet and I still did not eyeball the bird!

One Swift and a few Swallow.
A Blackcap was singing along passerine alley, I just got a glimpse as it went about it's business.

The walk home, via Keighley Road was marred by the drizzly murk and yuck.

I didn't see much, just 3 'Lightish Coloured' Geese > ESE into the gloom.

The picture is as bad as it gets, but still, someone might be able to ID them - care to try?

(Can't even tell if they have big conks!).
