Snow a.m. Local Fields p.m.

A biting strong NE wind this morning as I tinned out of going for a birding walk (soft sod what I am).

Thankfully by mid-afternoon the wind had said hasta la vista baby and the snow was melting nicely , so I had quite an enjoyable local saunter.

First I checked out Raggalds Flood, then I went up Percy Rd and down Taylor Lane to home.

A salting machine was saxo-ing Percy Road - looks like being a cold day tomorrow.

Birds:-

Raggalds Flood.

65 Lapwing (1 Lapwing on the flood 64 airborne close by).

Kestrel.

2 Starlings.

2 Stock Dove.

2 Singing Song Thrush.

(No Gulls in the snowy fields).

Not bad all considered.

See the great riddle below!!
