Raggalds Flood 15:00

Strong easterly breeze and poor visibility with mist and some drizzle.
Last night’s downpour has restored Raggalds Flood water level somewhat.
Pr. Lapwing keeping guard – nothing else. (No Wheatear visible from the road).

Edna Cloud

On the hill the visibility wasn’t good.
6 Lapwing were airborne calling and diving.
4 Meadow Pipit and a couple of Skylark were seen on my footpath circuit.
On the top a Drake Mallard and on the North Side a Pr. Pheasant – strange how the mundane elsewhere is a bonus on Soil hill with the poor weather.

Leaving via the West footpath c70 Meadow Pipit were in the fields on the down slope to the bridleway.

On the way home a Grey Heron flew over the Koi Carp Farm > S.
