Ilkley & Addingham

A lazy stroll along the wharf on a very hot sunny afternoon. Followed by a trip round to look at second-hand static caravans in the area.
Hoping for a Yellow Wagtail and/or Little Grebe ( didn’t spot either bird or a static to buy)

Birds seen:-

BHG 4. Male Mandarin Duck 3. Grey Wagtail Juvenile ?. Wren. 
Pied Wagtail 5. Goldfinch.
Swift 10 mostly flying above Addingham houses.
Swallow 12. Sand Martin 6. Willow Warbler 3. Oystercher 2. Chiffchaff 4.
Peacock screaming. 
Mistle Thrush 2. Song Thrush. Curlew. M. Pheasant. Dunnock.
Collard Dove 3. House Sparrow

F. Goosander. Dipper.Male Wigeon

    If you get a new static can I have the old one for Soil Hill.

  2. Might have been domesticated?
    It was near a stream In the grounds of a large house approaching the
    Church at Addingham (on the dalesway footpath).
    Bit cold on Soil Hill for a static but we could always negotiate (like Joe Gormley) used to say.
