Raggalds flood looked like the Gobi desert to-day –
2 Canadas and a couple of Swallows keeping it company. It was nice to speak with
Mark up there. He had just come back from Spain watching Golden Oriole. No
Oriole or Olé for me today.
There
was a cycle event on the old railway line, this is my excuse for a poor show(Or
was it the call of a shandy at the Junction)?
A few
Swallow on Low Lane. Chiffchaff singing on the old railway.
Greenfinch.Goldfinch.
A
Lapwing on Low Lane fields was trying to get shut of 20+ crow types feeding
close by.
Pied
Wagtail and a Swallow on the Queensbury Celtic football pavillion. Skylark.
Back
home Blue Tit madly feeding young in my Blue Tit box and a Blackbird singing it’s
head off on the house roof. A couple of Swift outside the house earlier in the
day.
Welcome back to reality John.
