Bradshaw - Ogden Circular

18:30
The usual jaunt this evening:-

Ogden quiet with the usual Willow Warbler & Chiffchaff singing a rarity for me was pr of Great Crested Grebe  asleep on the water. Also 3 BHG making a comeback.
The usual Canadas and Mallard with a few ducklings looking as if they may escape the Heron.
The Heron was standing statue like on the edge of the water.
GSW calling but not seen and a few Meadow Pipit and Swallow seen approaching the Golf Course.
On the way home a Lapwing flew North and a very quick moving Kestrel was being pursued by a Swallow.
Also about Wren, Dunnock, Collard Dove, Goldfinch, Pied Wagtail and a Mistle Thrush sitting pretty on the wall.

  1. I tried creeping up on that Heron for a photo but it was too clever and went for a bath.
