I took a stroll down to Oats Royd this evening. When the sun shines down there it is a beautiful place to wander about.

Birds Seen:-

Collard Dove, Song Thrush, Goldfinch, Woodpigeon, C70 Starling circling, Wren, Meadow Pipit.

I think Meadow Pipit is becoming my favourite bird. When there is nothing else about out it pops and sits on a wall or a fence post, smiles and allows it's photo to be taken.

A couple or three Swallow low over the meadow tops and the ponds. Chiffchaff and Willow Warbler with  family of Great Tit being fed in the trees.

 A Green Woodpecker flew north over the ponds and a Pied Wagtail on farm buildings on the way home.
