Queensbury - Bradshaw

Yesterday Evening (Monday)

Sue dropped me off at Queensbury (on her way to Crown Green Bowling) for a walk back to Bradshaw via Scholes.

Birds seen:-

Collard Dove, Wren 2, Grey Wagtail 2, Bullfinch 2,Great Tits in abundance,
Greenfinch, Swallows in good supply throughout with 20 resting on the telephone lines at Scholes when the rain came down.

A couple or three LBBG in the fields by the bridge over the cycle track.

Heavy rain forced me into the Junction for a pint but not before it had given me a reet good soaking.

On Lowe Lane a Linnet and on the busy Denholmegate Road a Pied Wagtail playing chicken with the heavy traffic.
A couple more Pied Wags on the way through Bradshaw.

The highlight of a dull outing was Mistle Thrush - with 6 near the cycle track and a further 4 on a pylon nearing home.

Here's hoping the Germany Brazil match is a little less dull!
