A late afternoon stroll on the river Wharf today.

Some bright sunshine but quite a chill in the wind but 100X better than yesterday.

Birds:-

2 House Martin nicking flies from spiders’ webs on the Red Lion pub.
C20 Pied Wagtails feeding In the large car parking field over the bridge.
3 Grey Wagtail.
Goldfinch, Wren, Song Thrush.
2 Juv. Goosander, Mandarin Duck, Moorhen
Nuthatch (heard but not seen). Adult & Juv. LBBG
M. Pheasant, Common Gull, BHG, Collard Dove,
House Sparrow, Dunnock & others.

(Hoped for a wader or two but no luck. Had better days at Burnsall.).

Today's post Sue tells me there is a speeling mistake on it. A bit like 50% of my posts.

Pied Wags everywhere.

  1. A nice spot Burnsall.
The spelling mistake is all down to the nickers , with prices like that you,d think he,d be able to afford a dictionary.
