Bradshaw Soil Hill Circular.

A walk in the fog.

At the top of Ingham Lane a few Meadow Pipits on the road playing chicken.
The Soil Hill contour footpath indiscernible with the long sodden grass. Just a couple of Skylark  and c12 Meadow Pipit, in one bunch, with others flitting about. 

Also up there 14 Goldfinch, a Wren and a Robin and also a wet-legged ‘un.

Coal Lane area had just a BHG in the fields with 3 Robin all singing from different tree tops.

On the plantation track area 10 Meadow Pipit feeding in the activity field. Blackbird, Woodpigeon,Chaffinch, Jackdaw and 3 Mistle Thrush on the barn roof.

Sitting on the wires c30 Linnet.

Ogden same as usual:-


Cormorant , GCG 2, Tufted Duck, Nuthatch (heard but not seen), 3 Goldcrest, LBBG & Juv. LBBG, BHG and Common Gull.
