me – but I did not eyeball it!

Hill – Contour Footpath.
A Common Snipe flushed from the north end did a
hasty zig-zag towards Thornton. Carrion Crow & not a lot else.

Usual Gull sp. Common, BHG, LBBG.
Coal, Blue, Great Tit, Dunnock, Robin, Blackbird,
Chaffinch.

sign of the Black Redstart or the Stonechat alas.
1 BHG, Dunnock, 3 Wren, Moorhen, Chaffinch, Robin,
M. Bullfinch, 2 Meadow Pipit, 5 Blackbird, Collard Dove, Goldfinch, Rook.
15 or so Goldfinch on the telephone lines near home
with 6 Starling on the pylon wires. A couple of Chaffinch in the trees opposite
the house.

The question marked bird looks like kestrel if it was that sort of size, can,t get the size off the photo.
