Reservoir Run.


After some morning chores a few hours free this aft.

Leeshaw.

Water quiet.
Mallard, 1 Cormorant, c20 BHG, Common Gull, 10 Pheasant, 12 Woodpigeon feeding in the fields. 
I also caught a quick glimpse of a huge flock of Woodpigeon (more than 50) landing in the trees way beyond the water tower.
4 Starling, c20 Jackdaw, Kestrel.

Ponden.

Water quiet with a few Mallard and a Mucscovy Duck.
Moorhen, Wren, 10 Pheasant, Mistle Thrush, Mallard.
A large group of small birds filing through the trees at the ‘Ponden Guest House ” end of the reservoir:-
c30 Goldfinch, c10 LTT, Blue Tit, Great Tit, 6 Chaffinch, 2 Wren, Robin, Goldcrest.

Leeming.

Water a bit busier than the other reservoirs with a few Mallard, a Pr of Tufted Duck, BHG, Common Gull, Pheasant, Kestrel, Carrion Crow.


Couldn’t linger any longer because Sue was eager to go to the dentist.

    Got a report this afternoon of a single drake Goldeneye on Lower Laithe.
