Ogden.

10:30

It was another windy, squally showery day making it difficult to keep the bins and camera dry.

I had an hour or so tour of Ogden and was rewarded with a better day than yesterday.

A Kestrel was floating about under the promenade near the ‘kingfisher’ site, landing on the ground for a while.(No sign of the Kingfisher alas).

A pr. Jay were in the trees in the same area as the Kestrel.

The highlight of the tour was a M. Goosander on the water.

The usual Common Gull and Black Headed Gull were on the water (as far as I could make out) and a Cormorant appeared on the podium when I came back round.

Not a lot of small birds seen today, just LTT and Robin mostly.

  1. Male Goosander, always a nice bird to see. Good header picture
