After being blown about Bradshaw & District
yesterday I decided to go and be blown about elsewhere today.
It was a blustery, very showery morning, with
frequent hail showers.

Coach Road
A stroll down Coach Road and back, looking for
woodpecker, but not seeing any – that’s what happens when I don’t have Sue’s
eyes with me.
Perhaps the wind is too strong and discourages
woodpecker from drumming or calling – things may improve when this wind sod’s off.

Tit, Chaffinch, C12 Redwing, BHG, Carrion Crow, 2 Wren, Song Thrush, Great Tit, 4 long

Priestley Green
I stopped on the way home at Priestley Green, Hipperholme to have a look down Lees Lane, an
interesting area.
I spent a good 20 minutes sheltering behind a holly
bush out of the way of a hail shower. However, it was quite pleasant when the
sun shone.

8 Blackbirds feeding together within a few feet of
each other.
2 Goldfinch, 1 Redwing.
C40 Woodpigeon, 15 small gulls and C60 Jackdaws

Lees Lane - Priestley Green
Today's cowboy.
What's that on the post? It's wire twerp.
Plenty hail storms to get caught in today, I copped for one with the dogs at dinner time.
