Coach Road

14:45 - 16:00

We had a trip down to Coach Road this afternoon looking for the proverbial needle in an oak tree without luck. Just a couple of faint Woodpecker calls from the trees near the church as we looked across from the track.
I spotted what looks like a very fresh nest hole, so next time I’m feeling optimistic (2020) I’ll pop down there again and check out the nest site.

(Dave F. if you read this drivel perhaps I could borrow your eyes for a day).

Birds:-

Moorhen, 3 Wren, Mistle Thrush, 2 Nuthatch, 7 Long Tailed Tit, Coal Tit , many a Great & Blue Tit , Robin, Blackbird, Goldfinch, Jay, many a Woodpigeon.

Romeo, Romeo wherefore art thou Romeo?
