Granddaughter day today but I managed to sneak down
to Oats Royd for and hour this morning.
Not a lot to report really. There was a lot of
nesting material being collected.
A cheeky Jackdaw
was sitting on a cows back giving the cow a hair pluck (couldn’t really call it a hair cut with the way it was tugging
bits of fur out of the cows back!)
A Chaffinch and a Mistle Thrush were also busy with
nesting stuff.
Chiffchaff and Willow Warbler were in good voice
with the usual suspects down there.
