Soil Hill / Ogden

Another day another trip to Soil Hill and Ogden.

13:45 Soil Hill

A couple of Mistle Thrushes were fighting over territory on the way up with just the usual small birds about.
C80 Jackdaw were circling in the sky over Bradshaw Farms.
On the hill 5 Skylark, 5 Meadow Pipit, Pr. ‘brown’ looking Partridge – off again before I could I.D. them. A Sparrowhawk soaring very high and a Pheasant.
No Wheatear as yet for me.
Just time for a peek at Ogden before having for some grub at the Moorlands with an old mate from Marshalls.

Ogden

Tufted Duck, 2 LBBG with a few Canada Goose and Mallard.
On the way to the Moorlands, Kestrel, 2 Greenfinch and 2 Lapwing.
Other birds seen today a Buzzard in Bradford this morning, a Swallow in Ambler Thorn Queensbury this morning and a Swallow near Ingham Lane this evening.
