We had to visit the Birdcage Lane area this morning
to Ing Royde Apartments and I took a few minutes to have a nosy at the birds
in the garden thereabouts.
A very pleasant surprise was that of a Song Thrush that
sat on a rock looking at me.
The photo is not brill. though.
Song Thrush seem to be quite rare as far as I’m
concerned.
Also here were Dunnock, Robin, Blue, Great &
Coal Tit.
I had a chance meeting with a visitor to the Ing Royde apartments,
who informed me that he got LSW on his garden feeders and that they were ‘common’
in Copley Woods – so there is hope for me yet.
Raggalds
Flood.
After a trip to a very foggy Bradford we stopped at
Raggalds Flood for 5 mins– just Mallard there are far as I could tell. The mist closed in
as I tried to take a few pictures, the pictures deteriorate as the mist comes along.
Snooker/Pool this tea-time so I'd better get my skates on.
(It's difficult playing pool in skates - perhaps that's why I'm loosing).
This popped out of my camera - not sure where I took the photo
and I've no idea what the bird is either!
Visibility not bad
2 Mins later - visibility getting worse
Mystery bird , could be a Jay ?
ReplyDeleteNot a Jay for me it looks like it's got speckles but my eyes aren't the best.
