We had a walk around the tracks behind the demolished Denhlom Velvets factory for an hour this morning.
It was sunny but exceptionally cold in the sharp breeze.
I was hoping for Little Owl but came up blank.
There was a Pheasant calling and 8 Skylark were seen in total.
Other than that there was a few Carrion Crow and not a lot else.
It was pleasing to see Skylark up singing with their numbers on the increase.
