Ogden - short visit

It was a walk from home to, and around, Ogden Water followed by some early-bird tea in the Moorlands, before walking home , late this afternoon.

Bright, cold and windy but sheltered on the west bank of the water.

We counted 13 Goosander on the water.

The 2 Drake Tufted Ducks were by the feeding area with Canada's and Mallards.

A quick circuit revealed a few Robin and there were several Goldcrest, heard , but not many seen in the Christmas Tree hedges.

A bit of a muddy trail at the moment with all this rain , that we have endured, of late.

Some Goosander and Tufted Duck pics (again) .... but when they're gone they're gone!
