The usual stroll, a circuit of Ogden Water then home via Ned Hill Track instead of Soil Hill.
After a visit to Pinderfields with Emma this morning,
(where, after being in the PAYE club for nearly 50 years I still had to fork out for disable parking)
and a visit to Sue's Dad this afternoon it was nice to get out and about.
It was a very dark evening for June but very mild.
Ogden Water had a single Lesser Black-backed Gull on the podium and 1 overhead.
25 Canada Geese, Willow Warbler, 4 Black Headed Gull, Grey Wagtail.
A scan down into the dark, dark culvert from the promenade proved a good move with a would be Woodpigeon turning into a Dipper. A nice surprise.
Others: Jay, calling Oystercatcher, 2 Swallow, Goldfinch, Chaffinch, Pr. Collard Dove.
On the way home:-
3 Swift, 2 Curlew, 6 Swallow,Meadow Pipit, Skylark.
3 very distant Whitethroat, Kestrel and a few other sp.
