√Elland to Brighouse and back

We had a walk along the canal from Elland to Brighouse and back this afternoon.

A bright and sunny day and a tad warmer than of late.

Birds:-

2 Great Spotted Woodpecker, Goldcrest, Heron, Goldeneye, 2 Pr. Goosander, 2 Moorhen, Canada Geese, Cormorant.

A large , very distant,Raptor (not a Sparrowhawk) was being mobbed by Crows - probably a Buzzard.

And some other sp.

I took this photo of a flying Cormorant but....

In the top of the picture was this.

Don't know what it is though.

Probably a Mallard
