Hollingworth Lake / Soiil Hill

A morning visit to my second least favourite shop (after Boundary Mills - Colne) Ikea, was followed by a wheelchair push with Emma around Hollingworth Lake.

Breezy but fine here this afternoon.

3 Oystercatcher, Black Headed Gull, Lesser Black-backed Gull, Canada Geese, Mallards.

I took a few photographs but I dare not linger too long.

After tea I had an evening outing up and around Soil Hill.

More breezy here,fine and dull.

Soil Hill.

Large gulls were nonchalantly gliding around in ones and two, keeping a keen eye on the newly mown fields below Ned Hill Track.

A few Gulls were in the fields with a couple of Curlew.

Others included, Pr. Kestrel, Stock Dove, Swallows, 1 Swift and a few other sp.

Whitethroat were at the top of the path that leads diagonally from Ned Hill Track to Soil Hill top.

A fair number of Meadow Pipit about now.
