Brookfoot L.N.R. and Ski Lake

13:00 - 15:00

A couple of hours birding this aft and a milder dry day.

Another try for Terns and another dip.
(Abigail to entertain later,I hope she doesn't want to play a game where I have to 'miss a turn'!!)

Lots of birdsong and plenty to keep me occupied, although nothing exceptional seen.

Canada Goose with Goslings.
A Little Grebe was in amongst the reeds feeding 1 chick.
A distant Reed Warbler was heard but not seen.
Moorhen, Coot.
F. Goosander on the river.
A Buzzard was seen very briefly through the tree canopy.
Great Spotted Woodpecker in the trees on the opposite riverbank.
A 'good few' Blackcap.
Heron.
A family of Long Tailed Tits.
Birdbox A7 is home to a Blue Tit family.
