Early morning we had a visit to make in Wyke and then Aldi shopping late morning, so I had no time to spare.
During the morning I got a grapevine text from B.S. re: Whooper Swans at Ogden but couldn't get there!
Luckily for me 3 Whoopers were still present when I eventually got there early afternoon.
They remained in the centre of the water throughout and probably were getting hungry? after so many hours without food?
Good to chat Adrian and Mrs Adrian from Bradford, who were 'friends of Ogden Water ' some time back.
After a coffee in the visitors centre I managed to leave my rucksack there. I got half way around the 2nd circuit before realising this and had to leg it back again, hoping they had not shut before I got back there - luckily they were open phew!
The weather today was hail and sun repeatedly.
