Soil Hill etc

This evenings outing up to and around Soil Hill was met with bright sunshine and breeze, the breeze did die down as I was leaving.

Good to bump into DJB -pity it was just as I was leaving.

Birds:-

A Little Owl was in the usual place.
2 Stock Dove.
A Juv. Wheatear was on a wall near soil hill main track - a good start.
c12 Swift.
2 Curlew.
Swallow.
Wren.
Kestrel.
Lesser Black-backed Gull.
Black Headed Gull.
Linnets.
Herring Gull.
(c30 Linnet on the Taylor Lane wires seen along our morning walk).

Black Headed Gulls moving about today, seen from the garden. Included a group of 11.
A very fast Raptor flew through the garden, pursued by a Swallow - probably a Kestrel.

A late outing yesterday evening along the fields past Bradshaw Hall, had a Little Owl and a couple of Mistle Thrush.
