Thornton Old Railway Track and Soil Hill

After an exercise walk this afternoon along the Thornton to Queensbury Old Railway Line, Sue dropped me at Soil Hill on our way home so I could further exercise!

Just an hour before dark here, but this place is either diamonds or stones - today it was stones - home via Taylor Lane.

(Thinking about stones, we could do with some more up here, might encourage a Bunting or two).

Birds:

Just a Kestrel of note along the railway line.

Soil Hill.

4 Lapwing over.

Mallard, Moorhen.

A Little Owl took some finding along Taylor Lane - have not seen it here in a while.

Herring Gulls were passing over Ned Hill Track > NNW, some were calling.

Some good colours in the sky again.
