A very short outing this afternoon.
A cold dull day with not many birds on the move.
With a recent Yellowhammer sighting, elsewhere, I thought I'd try my luck in the area where I saw one last year - but no joy today.
Birds:-
Just the usual species and not many of 'em.
Top of the shop was a f. Green Woodpecker.
Others birds included :
Pied Wagtail.
Jay.
Greenfinch.
Bullfinch.
An enjoyable outing nonetheless.
