Sowerby Bridge

 Another foggy, cold day and Sue had a visit to see Emma at White Windows, Sowerby Bridge.

Just one visitor allowed with the strict care home Covid rules, so I took the opportunity to have my exercise walk hereabouts.

Loads of potential, going up Fore Lane as far as St. Peter's  Church and then down St. Peter's avenue with some big trees and a good movement of birds.

Just above White Windows, along Fore Lane, Redwing were flitting about between the trees and the ground with some birdsong.

I could not work out if the song was from Starling or Redwing!

Some smaller bird sp. here as well.

A bit further along a Mistle Thrush and Long Tailed Tits were flitting about.

Soon after leaving St. Peters  church the avenue is tree lined and there were many 'singing' Starling and Jackdaw.

I really needed more time to check through the birds here.

An interesting walk nonetheless - if a tad cold.
