Ogden to Bradshaw

This unusually cold spring weather continues with frost on the car this morning.

It was bright and sunny however , pleasant walking conditions.

Still a struggle to find anything special bird wise.

(Wintry showers again this aft.)

Ogden Water:

A single Gull on the float that I think is a 2nd Summer Herring Gull.

But knowing my stunning Gull ID skills could ... well ... not be!

Grey Wagtail, Red Legged Partridge.

Chiffchaff, Willow Warbler.

2 Song Thrush, Mistle Thrush.

2 Nuthatch.

Singing Blackcap.

Coal Tit feeding young.

Great Crested Grebe. Pr. Tufted Duck.

Heron (possibly two).

2 Swallow. 2 Stock Dove.

(Two 'square looking' birds, bit smaller than Starling flew fast overhead > giant's tooth.

Silvery Grey underparts.. No call. were past in a few seconds!).

Soil Hill etc:

Very quiet even with a good hunt around.

Moorhen, Pr. Mallard. Pheasant.

Linnet, 1 Lapwing, Meadow Pipit.

Skylark, 3 Willow Warbler.

Lesser Black-backed Gull.

Little Owl took some finding along Taylor Lane.
