Ogden to Bradshaw

Sue dropped me at Rocks Road, Ogden so I could enjoy a walk home.

The weather was milder to start but it soon warmed up and the Ned Hill Road trudge was tough.

Birds:-

Golf course area (poor really).

Jay, 2 Bullfinch, Woodpigeon, Swallows chasing a Sparrowhawk.

1 Reed Bunting, 5 Mistle Thrush.

Ogden Water:-

c100 Black Headed Gull, c25 Lesser Black-backed Gull.

Canada Geese, Mallard.

1 Great Crested Grebe.

4 singing Chiffchaff.

Grey Wagtail in the sluice, looked to be feeding (unseen) young.

The walk home was via Syke Lane, Ned Hill Rd, Percy Rd and Taylor Lane.

A large contingent of Black Headed and Lesser Black-backed Gull were in a field opposite Jane Green, Ogden.

3 Common Gull were in the fields opposite the large tree at the bottom of Taylor Lane.

A Herring Gull flew over.

A short garden watch saw some Gulls and Swallow passing by but nothing much else.

Yesterday evenings sky watch produced a Buzzard.
